Free Parking at the Silos
Last Updated at 2017-05-30 19:25:42 UTC
The Silos are located in the middle of downtown Waco, and at times it can be difficult to know where to park. But don't worry! This article has all the information you need so that you can find a great free parking spot without spending any money.
1. Magnolia Market Free Parking Lot
Magnolia's free parking lot is connected to the Silos property, and is by far the most convenient place to park. The entrance is on 8th street, right next to CrossFit. Please note that the lot is currently a gravel lot, and can be a little bumpy. We're working on this, and we apologize if, in the meantime, your car gets a little dusty!
For handicapped guests, we have designated parking spots in this lot, as well as designated street parking along Webster directly in front of the Silos.
2. Silo District Trolley
The Silo District Downtown Trolley makes a stop at our store, and best of all, it's free! When you arrive in downtown Waco, simply follow the Silo District Trolley signs to the nearest free parking lot, and ride the trolley for free! The trolley’s route makes it easy to get to and from Magnolia Market, and also provides access to other popular shopping, dining and art venues in the downtown area. Parking is always available, and always free. Find out more and see the route map by clicking here.
3. Free Street Parking
There is also free street parking along 6th street, Webster, and 8th street. If you see an open space, feel free to take it! There are no parking meters. Just be sure to watch out for pedestrians, and follow all street signs. Certain streets have designated no-parking zones, and violators will be ticketed or towed. And as always, please be courteous to neighboring businesses by not taking any of their parking spots.
4. Other Free Parking Lots in Walking Distance
If these options don't work for you, there is an abundance of free parking in downtown Waco that's within a 10 minute walk. If you're up for walking, you'll never have to pay for parking downtown. Just be sure to check the weather for rain, and stay hydrated during summer months. Click here to look at a map with more Free Parking options.
